Fields of Mistria Shovel Guide – How to Get & Upgrade
The shovel is used to expand fields and excavate dig spots. Start with the Worn Shovel, then upgrade through blacksmithing when you need a larger charged digging area.

How to get the first shovel
The Worn Shovel is sold at the General Store. It covers the basic field-expansion and dig-spot use cases; confirm the current in-game price before planning a purchase.
Upgrade order and charged range
Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold and Mistril versions progressively expand the charged digging area. Check the item cards below for the current data snapshot.
Practical use
Charge the tool when clearing several adjacent tiles. For a single dig spot, the basic shovel is usually enough and saves time.
